I've been thinking...

Friday afternoon my cleaning lady came to save my house from total destruction. There's almost nothing better than walking into a house that smells lemon fresh. Of course, today, it looks like she was never here. I'm thinking maybe I should hire her to just live here with us. I could fix up the cellar real nice for her. I'd even make her breakfast in the mornings. I'm great with microwavable pancakes on a stick. Just ask my kids!!

With the cleaning fairy was here Friday, Jason's mom and I took the kids to the park. She and I were not even out of the car yet when I heard a loud thud and swung my head around to see Case lying face down in the shavings under the monkey bars.

Here is where I need to remind you all of this incident a couple of years ago. That was the day I knew that as a mother I was SUPER at many, many things. I could tread through poop, vomit, and blood like nobody's business. BUT, the sight of seeing something broken, literally makes me go light headed instantly.

Back to the story, I instantly jumped out of the car and ran to him. He wasn't moving AT ALL and that totally freaked me out. Then he started the same moaning cry that Kooper did and for a split second I thought I might take a place face down right beside him. So, long story short, I picked him up and carried the lug around for a while and he has been complaining about both hands ever since. He holds them funny. He can't open doors. He is "proud" of himself when he can hold his own fork. BUT, no bruising or swelling. He's not one to carry on about being hurt. I've watched him when he doesn't know I'm watching and I KNOW he's not faking it. I'm thinking maybe I need to take him to the clinic. BUT, our insurance policy sucks for business owners and we only have 2 visits a year. I hate to waste a visit if it's not a big deal...I'm also thinking I need advice! HELP~~

I love this blog. It's my hobby. It's my scrapbook. It's my memory catcher. But I think I am at a point that it is taking up to much of my time. I just love you guys too much. I'll be the first to say that in the past I have been a great time manager when it comes to the ol blog! BUT, I have so much to do to get this house on the market, and it just isn't getting done. It really doesn't even seem like I am spending too much time here, but my chore list is long and things are not moving along like they should . So I'm thinking Pirates and Princesses is getting the blame. I guess we'll see soon enough. I'm going on hiatus. I'll be back. I could never desert you forever. Just until I see some real progress around here. Life is slowing down for a week or so (Koop played in his last bball tournament this weekend and baseball doesn't start for a couple weeks) and I want to take full advantage of not running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

I'm thinking about my great friend, Charla's, facebook status this weekend. She made the comment that she hated to hear mothers complain about their kids making them so busy. Charla, I know you were not talking to me. I KNOW!! Something about that comment just spoke to me. I think that I spend most of my day feeling mistreated for being so busy running my kids around and attending every thing under the sun. And although I don't normally complain about it on this blog....I FEEL IT!

I love being a mommy. It is my calling in life. I adore these kids. I prayed for these children. I have been blessed with FOUR beautiful, healthy, fun, and sometimes crazy kids. And while on hiatus, I am going to focus on that.

Again, Charla, I know you were not talking to me. The Lord was.

Love ya girl! Let's do lunch soon!

Love y'all! Be back soon. Miss me!:)

Oh, sweet friend, I know you know I wasn't talking about you. I just was reading something on Facebook and saw a mother just complaining and being so negative about being so busy with her children and for some reason yesterday it just really got to me. I also know there are those days when you just need to complain and there is nothing wrong with that! I just like to make people think about what they have (myself included) that others would give anything for! And, I KNOW you understand that desire because you've been there and experienced the longing and the loss.

And I must get on the bandwagon of NOOOOOOOOO, you can't leave us forever! A hiatus...okay...but you MUST come back soon because I laugh EVERY time I read your blog and I LOVE to read about your beautiful little family!

Yes, I thought about lunch again yesterday, too!

Is there anything I can help you with on your house? I would be more than happy to do so! Even if it is taking the kiddos out of the house for a while so you can focus! You be sure to call on me if you need me!

Love you, girl!
