THIS AND THAT....

The Horton household is on the mend!! Praise the Lord! Kenna Mae hasn't ran any fever since Wednesday. That made a full week, as in 7 days, of fever. Whew...she is feeling much better. Although not great because she is possibly the grouchiest, grumpiest, whinniest little princess on the planet the last couple of days. Lord, please let it be that she doesn't feel well, and not the "terrible 3's". Case's fever broke yesterday afternoon and is much lower today. Still low grade, but nothing compared to the first 2 days. His eyes are still glassy and pitiful looking, but better. Kate woke up feeling yucky yesterday. She stayed home from school because I just KNEW she was coming down with it. She felt terrible all day. Her throat hurt so bad. But, she never got the fever. SO...she went back to school today. We'll see if she starts running fever today. Kate is my complainer. She starts whining about being sick even before she starts being sick!LOL! DRAMA!! Let's just say a prayer that this virus stops there. I can't handle another day of sickness. Yesterday, I got out of the house for the second time since Saturday!! On the other hand, I sure have gotten alot done around the house this week! Sometimes I guess it takes horrible viruses to screech on the breaks and slow us down.

Other happenings....Kooper FINALLY lost one of his top teeth. He has lost several bottom, but we were starting to worry about the top ones. He came home like this yesterday. There is something about it when they lose their front teeth. It makes me feel really sad. Although he was VERY proud. I think he was the only one in his class that hadn't lost his 2 front teeth!!

On a funny note, when Koop saw this picture of himself he said, "Momma, can we go get my haircut tomorrow?" He always wants to grow out his hair until he sees a picture of himself when it starts to get long. Last time I had to tell him that Abbey H. didn't like long hair on boys. SO HE WENT AND GOT IT CUT!! Koop and Abbey are best buds. They pretty much spent every waking moment together since they were born! They walked together, talked together, took baths together, everything. They really miss each other!:( ( Sorry for that little sidetrack)

The kids finally felt well enough yesterday to have Kenna's 3rd birthday party with my mom and all my little sister. Here are Kate and Kenna "helping"me with the cupcakes. I love the way Kenna is looking at her big sister in this picture. It makes me smile. (Can you see the apron's that they have on? They are so cute. Brown with white polka dots with big red heart pockets. I found them on the $1 isle in Target. What a bargain!)

I just can't get the perfect shaped cupcake...aggg..it makes me frustrated!! ( I know...the many worries of a stay at home mom)

Kenna's favorite princess is Cinderella. So we had a cute little Cinderella party! She had so much fun, although we really haven't figured out the polite way to open gifts. She would take one look, say "oh, how cute", and grab the next gift to open! We laughed and laughed at her.

On another note all together, has anyone seen the new PBS cartoon Super Why? My kids love it! And it is hard to get my kids to watch any cartoons, especially if it isn't Handy Manny or Dora! It is so educational, too. They learn letters, read story books. It about kids they call "super readers" and they have a book club. Best of all, "Princess P" is one of the super kids. You gals really need to look for it on your line up and let the kids see it. Although my kids may be the only one's in the world that like it. I AM IMPRESSED THOUGH!

I don't want to forget to tell y'all about Case and Kenna's new "thing". It is so funny. I can't figure out where they learned it. I guess it's just one of those games they make up and do on their own.

I just think it's funny that they made it up together. And they can be in the middle of something else and Case starts it out and Kenna does it instantly. So cute!!

One last thing, all you people out there that have sitemeter....HELP! I had it on my old blog, but now that I have mine custom, I can't get it on there. I have emailed the girl that did my blog and she hasn't gotten back to me, I'm sure she's busy. But I don't want to drive her crazy. SOOO you guys help me. When I get ready to paste it onto my page....the tabs they tell me to pick ARE NOT THERE! Jason even tried to help me, but seriously, I am fairly "blog literate" and I just can't seem to get it on there. Any ideas??

I also think that I have discovered something about myself. I LOVE change. I am constantly wanting to change things around here. The paint color of every room in my house. The arrangement of my furniture. Houses! I actually paid someone to design this blog for me. Now I think I want to change it again!! I think I might need some counseling!LOL! Or maybe I just need someone to teach me do this template thing!HINT!HINT! Or maybe we could learn together! Any takers? Or, maybe I'll just pay someone else to do another template for me?! Don't worry, I already have it all justified in my head. It goes like this....This is my hobby. It's what I love to do. It is a creative outlet for me to keep up with friends and family. Soooo...hubby has a hobby, too. Hunting. And trust me, I don't think I could ever spend as much $$ on blog templates to compare or catch up with his hobby!! So there you have it. JUSTIFIED! I am so good at that!! I LOVE YOU, HUBBY!!
