Looking on the bright side...

Day #6....Well, Kenna Mae is still running fever today. Not as high as the past 5 days, but it lingers around 100 degrees. She was diagnosed with double ear infections yesterday. Probably a result of another infection. SUPERMOM OF THE YEAR!! I swear she never even complained of an ear ache!! Poor baby! Not to mention Case woke up coughing up a lung and running 102. Lovely. SO...in order to keep my sanity, today is the day to "look on the bright side".

Bright side #1...

Two kids down only 3 more to go. Almost half way there!LOL!

#2...

I have really gotten to spend some great one on one time with my baby girl. She and I have bonded even more than ever. The past 6 days have been filled with her being held in my arms and carried all over the house. She has slept on my head for 5 nights and nothing can bond a momma and her baby like a terrible nights sleep with feet in your face or tiny hinies on your head.

#3...

Possible weight loss from carrying a 30 pound 3 year old all over the house for 6 days.

#4...

I have been able to slow down(except for yesterday)and watch and listen to my little guys! I even have a couple of good Case stories for y'all today!!

So there you have it. A few reasons to brighten my day.

Now, on to the Case stories. Yesterday Case had to go to the dentist. Which, he kinda likes. He really loves Dr. Green. So, Jason stopped by the house on his way to take him(I was at the clinic with Kenna) and while he was here Case fixed Dr. Green a"cup of donuts". Yes, a cup of donuts. As in a clear plastic cup full of powdered sugar donuts. Isn't that sweet? Oh, except that when Jason finally got in and settled in the waiting room, the little stinker popped one straight into his mouth!! FIVE MINUTES BEFORE HE GETS IN THE DENTIST CHAIR!! Jason handled it all very well. He told them what he did and Case not only left with a toy, but also with a new toothbrush he had gotten to brush the donut out of his teeth. HEHEHE!

Then, last night, Case said the funniest thing. It still makes me laugh!

Jason: Case, I need to ask you a question and I need you to tell me the truth. I know how hard is is for you to say the truth all the time.

Case: Yes Daddy, it is WWEALLY hard!!

Jason: laughing already

Case: What Daddy? It's weally hard for me to say alot of words....not just twoooth!!

The entire family is laughing at this point and he is smiling ear to ear!

Case: What? Whats evweyone laughing at??

Jason then explained that he wanted him to be honest...not just say "twooth"!!

I hope you all are having a better day! To Shelley, bless your heart. I hope you get well soon. To Steph, I promise my kids really are sick...I'm not just trying to put off the butt kickin' you intend to give me ASAP! I hope this post encouraged you to smile on a really bad day!! Love ya'll!

And I leave you with a picture or three of my cute little sicklies!! One on each couch! It's a good thing I have two because I'm SURE they would be fighting over it. Earlier they mustered enough energy to fight over which one of them was "sicker"! Oh, the joys of mothering a couple of toddlers!!

At least you have a jokester to keep you laughing even if sickness continues to linger around your house. Case is hilarious. Derek is talking about coming up to see you guys. I hope it works for us.
