What about a what's up Wednesday?

Hey, hey, hey!

So it's already Wednesday and things have been Cah-razy around here.
I can't really think about it in complete sentences so how 'bout we just make a list.
I love lists. Do y'all make lists?
Once Kate told me I needed to start making lists of my lists.
YES! That's a great plan!

This is what we've been up to lately.

One time, this happened.
Kate and Kenna Mae both participated in the project show.
Somehow, this is the only picture I managed to get!
Kate won a first, second, and third place for her baked goodies.
She's a great baker.
Kenna Mae made this fun, fabric wreath and placed 6th with it.
She also made a cute chalkboard frame(also 6th place) and Hawaiian muffins(1st place)!
It was a great experience!

And then there was the time the bigs did this and made me so proud..
Kate and Kooper, who are certified in CPR, demonstrated hands only CPR to the ENTIRE high school. I don't think I have even been more proud of my kids. When the kids were diagnosed with HCM(click on my Diagnosis and HCM facts tab on the nav bar to read more)I never dreamed we would be here, on the stage, teaching kids how to save lives, possibly even THEIR lives.
It's crazy how God works.
If he brings you TO it, he'll bring you THROUGH it.
Amen.

Oh, hey!
I can't forget that time we gave Kate tickets to the DWTS tour for Christmas.
It was a blast and she loved it so much she cried the entire show.

This night will always be one of my favorite memories of their childhood.

On our way home from DWTS we stopped off in Dallas and did a little prom dress shopping.
What the what?
There's no way she is possibly old enough for prom.
*sigh*
We didn't buy either of these, but omg.
She's a lady now.

I also took Kate to a girls conference with a couple other youth girls...

and went to my last ever school Valentine party with this girl.
Isn't that sad?

The week of Valentine's Day was also Congenital Heart Disease awareness week.
Kenna Mae's school chose Thursday to spread awareness and asked everyone to wear red.
I received this picture from her awesome teacher and cried.
Kenna Mae is smack in the middle.
They also made red hearts that said #KMstrong on them.
The kids have had a reallllly hard time adjusting to this disease and life we were given, but it's times like this that make it easier. Kenna Mae felt "special" and I officially fell in love with Quanah schools. We are blessed to live in a small community.

I'm certain not everyone made it to the bottom of this post.
Thank you for bearing with my horrible, iPhone heavy, picture post.
My ultimate goal for this blog is to keep track of memories for my babes someday.
I like to entertain though, too and I'm not sure I achieved that this time! HA!

Y'all call me and let's have coffee on the front porch of the little ranch house!
