I'm a blog loser.
I've lost my mojo.
I've lost all my readers.
I have a great excuse for the last few days.
I've been super sick and the infection spread and settled in my shoulder.
I cried for a full day and thought I might loose a limb.
But, I went to the doc yesterday and he hooked me UP!
A good 'ol shot of steroid AND antibiotic
and THREE prescriptions!
BAM!
I feel SO much better today!
However, the last couple of weeks...
lots of LAME-O excuses that all of you would say
"I am busy too and I still blogged!! YOU LOSER!!"
So, for the 2 or 3 of you still out there...
here are a few pictures of my house this Christmas.
I seriously have to get that Rebel out and read the manual.
I know, I say that every single post.
The living room tree.
This year i bought the mesh ribbon at Canton and used it on the tree.
I looooove it!
Yes, that is my wrapping paper stash under the tree like a gift.
It's been a long couple of months.
A few of my favorite things about this years tree..
the super cute shelf sitters I found at the dollar store.
Much cuter in my tree than on a shelf!
The ornaments I picked up in Cape Cod.
I thought I scored when I got them for $7.99.
I have since seen them all over blogland.
They are on the Michael's dollar isle.
Nice.
BUT, mine is from Cape Cod and holds fabulous memories of crisp air and fall color!
This years spunky, funky topper.
I wish those feathers were just a little taller.
Cause I'm cool like that.
The mantel...
My girls trees are my favorites in the whole house!
They are so much fun to do!
Kenna Mae's tree...
The staircase...
The stockings were hung by the buffet with care...
so that they won't burn down the house when we use the fireplace!
Someone kick me if this little table is still this color next year!
Last year I said I was going to paint it and it's still in its original state!
Come on AMY, get off your lazy bum and paint the table!
The kid tree...
I'm thinking someone placed that lowest candy cane there to torment my
Christmas tree OCD.
Kate's tree...
complete with poor photo quality.
I'm not sure how the boys tree didn't make the cut.
I'll get around to that soon. ;)
Consider yourself "carded" from the Horton family this year!
(I never did get those suckers printed!)

Love all the pictures of the Christmas decorations. Looks awesome! Our cards didn't get sent out either and they were printed...all 75 of them :( Stupid grammar mistake by the Etsy seller! BOO! I think I am going to redo one that says...."We hope our Christmas card alerted you to how much better our family is doing than yours." LOL
Ok, first of all if ANYONE is a blog loser, it is ME!! I'm still here! haha! I haven't done much better at keeping up my blog in the past few months, but hey... here's to better blogging in the new year! :) Love your Christmas card.
Love your Christmas decor! You are so talented so DON'T EVER COME TO MY HOUSE DURING CHRISTMAS (would be rather humiliating on my part!). Hope you guys had a great holiday and are ready for the "rat race" of 2011.
