I promise that if you don't hear from me for a few days it's because I have taken this laptop out in the yard and slammed it into my street with my "crazy momma" strength!
I really want to post the cutest picture of Kenna Mae drinking a Star*bucks cinnamon hot chocolate you have ever seen.
Said picture just happened to be taken right after we left our cardiology appointment with fantastic news.
(As you can see, my computer is still in all its pieces, FOR NOW)
She's gonna be just fine!
Her actual diagnosis is Muscular VSD.
Her actual diagnosis is Muscular VSD.
Come to find out, little princess has a congenital heart defect that involves her lower chambers.
Between the two ventricles there is a wall, the Ventricular Septum.
In that wall there is a hole that is NOT supposed to be there. Usually these holes heal on their own.
So, right now, we are free!

I know there are a few nurses that are reading this blog cringing by that explanation of the heart.
Sorry!:) I am open for corrections!:)
We go back in 6 months with hopes the hole is continuing to shrink, every 2 years after.
All in all, things are great. She still has definite symptoms that are NOT related to her heart condition.
So, he did a ton of blood work checking for thyroid issues, anemia, even childhood diabetes.
No matter how you look at it, her symptoms are too obvious and severe to be a growth spurt.
We are confident that she just has a little issue and we will get on top of it and fix her!:)
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart! Your prayers worked!
God is so good!

She is so adorable! So glad that you got good news!
I'm so glad you posted about the visit. I have been worrying and praying for your little girl since the first post. I'm so glad everything is going to be okay and I'll continue to pray for the hole to shrink.
Don't you wish blood work came back instantly?! I just hate that you have to wait on it. I hope that y'all get some answers from it and Kenna Mae can start feeling good again.
