I thought I would do a little post this morning early because I have vowed not to get back on the computer a single time before I leave.
That's what I get for thinkin' on a Monday morning.
Every single technology driven device in my house is on the blink.
From my alarm clock to my TWO laptops.
BOTH of them are trying to send my over the edge!
Anyhow, Jason's dad turns 60 in a few days and to celebrate we are ALL going on a trip to good ole San Francisco! Jason and I, his mom and dad, his bro Craig and his amazing wife Kenni, his super sweet sister Kimberly and her husband Jason, are all headed over on Thursday morning.
Those of you who know me well know how excited I am about this trip.
Jason and I DON'T leave our kids. Not for more than a night or two.
I am STOKED to get away. And BOY do I need it right now.
My kids are in depression. They don't do well staying away and like I said have never been with someone else for more than a night or two, for sure not 5! So, that brings on a little anxiety for me.
You also know how much anxiety I have about being in an airplane.
You also know that I have only been in an airplane ONCE in my life and that was before 9/11.
I'm making myself sick just thinking about it.
I am terrified of flying.
Not spiders.
Not snakes.
Well, maybe a little scared of snakes.;)
Airplanes.
In the sky.
Terrified.
Pleeeease pray for me to stay calm and relaxed and that God guides that plane safely and swiftly across the mountains and highways.
Peace.
I'm not kidding, my heart is racing and I feel short of breath just typing this.
AUUUUGGGG!
Why do I have to be such a chicken? :)
You might also want to say a prayer for my bestie Alana and my mom. They will be taking turns with my kidlets while I am away.
Seriously, can you imagine what an awesome friend Alana is? We haven't even known each other a year and she's volunteered to keep my kids while I am gone?
THAT is the true definition of a bestie guys.
She's either super duper sweet or crazy. I'll let ya know when I get back! LOL!
And because a post is just boring without a picture....

How exciting!! Have fun and enjoy your trip, you deserve it!! I know how you feel about planes, I feel the same way.. We took a little weekend trip to Florida last July and I had to take a little medicine to help my nerves.. I know silly, but it did help..lol..
Your kiddos will have a blast..I know as a Mom we worry but they will be fine, they ALWAYS do better than we do!!
I will say a little prayer for you and for a safe flight, can't wait to see pictures when you get back!!
Oh and little miss Kenna mae is just too cute!!

Ummm, Do you even need to ask why I am keeping your children after looking at that picture of Kenna Mae? SERIOUSLY!!!??? Your children are amazing and I can't wait!

AWWWW...Have fUN!!!! I'm jealous! I want to go to Cali some time!! We will miss ya'll!!!! Break out the good camera & take LOTS of pics!!!! And if there's anything we can do while you're gone...let us know!!!

Its going to be an AMAZING trip! Wish I was there to help out with the kiddos!!! Take a pill or have a drink and RELAX, the flight will be over in a jiffy :) HAVE FUN!
