Catching up...

It's getting late and I am SO tired, but I needed to catch you guys up on what's been going on around here. I'll make it short and sweet with mostly pictures. Mainly because this day has been carazzzzzyyy!

Crazy as in, I threw the car into reverse to back out of the garage this morning without raising the garage door first which led to a garage door with a huge dent and my suburban stuck inside. I know, I think I need medication. I'm so tired of myself!:)

So, over the last couple of weeks, we have:

1. Attended the very last Thanksgiving feast at Mrs. Angie's Sonshine Preschool. And that's all I'm gonna say about that because it's late, I'm tired, and I feel a big lump forming in my throat. (sniff, sniff)

Now that's one sweet little Indian Princess.

2. Attended the lighting of the Christmas lights in Childress' Fair Park. Kooper won a writing contest and was chosen by the Christmas In the Park Board to be the one to "flip the switch". We were so proud of him!
3. Had THE most fun Thanksgiving day! Jason fried a turkey for my family at lunch and we ate with his family for dinner. WE WERE STUFFED! The kids all played happily and we enjoyed some wonderful family time!

4. Krista babysat for us while we took a fun getaway trip to see New Moon and while we were gone, Ava Grace took her first ride in an ambulance. Kenna might have nailed her in the head with a paint scrapper WITH A HOOk (on accident) and she ended up with a couple of staples. Bless her heart! She's feeling better.
5. Christmas is coming together slowly but surely. I am basically obsessed with crazy floppy ribbons and bows this year. I have had so much fun with my decorations. Here is a sneak peak!Do you think 5 trees are a little over the top?;) My husband seems to think so! I'll show you all about it next week.
6. carried on our eggnog tradition with a super fun addition of Miss Ava this year. The kids LOVe eggnog. Me...not so much.

I'm sure there about 23 more things I can tell you about, but my un-medicated brain is having a hard time thinking of them!

Goodnight, blog buds!

P.S. You might find a fun new look on my blog come Monday! SO CUTE!

1.) I'm not big on eggnog either, sister.

2.) I have also backed into our garage door because I didn't raise it before I backed out...TWICE.

3.) We also had a great Thanksgiving.

4.) I love you because you're so much like me. Hahaha...

I saw 3 of the 5 trees from the street. I'll have to come over for the next girls' night and see the other 2!
