Loving life...

Spring break is in full force in Hortonville! We are having a great time sleeping in a little, playing, and just hanging out! Something we are never able to do! No basketball practices, no gymnastics, no running back and forth all over town...it's been nice!!

Kooper and I were sitting at the breakfast table this morning chatting. Chatting at the table is one of my favorite times of the day. This morning our topic of conversation was NBA basketball. As if I know anything about the NBA! I found myself smiling at him for no apparent reason and when he asked me "what?" all I could say was..."I love having you as mine!! Boys are awesome!!" I grew up in a family of all girls and every time I watch him play basketball or wrestle with his little brother, it makes me feel so happy. It's strange. Hard to explain!!

The girls and I had a girls day out and went to lunch and to get a mani/pedi. It was Kenna's first time in the "big girl" salon and let me tell you, by the time we left, everyone knew by name and thought she was the cutest thing ever! I must add that we were in the salon for over 3 hours, so they had plenty of time to get acquainted! She was SO PATIENT! Here is the result of our fun...
In all "Kenna-ness" she refused to get her fingers and toes the same color. We actually compromised because really what she was determined to do was get every toe and finger a different color. Lovely.
Please to not look too close to the hideousness of my toes. They are huge, and fat, and awful.

These are a few pics of how our spring break began. We woke up to snow on Saturday. The kids played outside for about half an hour before they started to freeze and by lunch, it had all melted!! That's my kind of snow!!
I think his daddy is about to nail him in this picture!!:)

She dressed herself.

Sisters...

My favorite picture ever!! notice he was saying cheese even though we couldn't see his smile. Cracks me up!!

Playing with Picnik again!! Anyone have the upgrade? Is it worth the $$?

The rest of the week holds hair appointments for Kate and I, lunch with some friends, a trip to Abilene to meet up with the Hale's, and a weekend trip to Ft.Worth to hit the zoo, children's museum, catch a movie and swimming at the hotel. I can't wait!!
Happy spring break!!

Well, your week looks like it certainly started off well! I love the toes (even the huge, fat, awful ones)!

Have a great St Patty's Day!

Sounds like a perfect week to me. I love the pics. Thanks again for letting me crash in and run with you guys yesterday, I needed that push. Y'all are such inspirations and motivators, just goes to show you, you can't do it alone.

I love boys too but I think God knew that I really wanted a sister for Reagan and that I might be to partial to a boy. So I have my nephew who I love to spend time with. We spoil him rotten and are going to make a good husband for some sweet girl someday.

I love your last post about Kate and Jason. I didn't know that about Jason but I believe it! Your kids are so cute. We can't wait to see you all this weekend!
