So much to talk about...

So, I have been healed from the mystery disease that attacked the left side of my face last week. I feel like a new woman today! Thank you Lord.

There are 7 little people running amuck in my house today. The little KPs are spending the day with the Hortons. YEAH! They are all such sweet, well behaved kids! We heart the KPs around here...some of us more than others! (Koop and Katie might have a little crush on each other).

Unfortunately, Koop is missing out on all the fun. He spent the weekend with Craig and Kenni in Lubbock. We have cousin Cale with us! We like to trade kids every once in a while!!:)

Anywho, onward. The painters finished up the paint on Thursday. I love it. But, because I am the worst photographer ever, this is the worst picture of the color EVER! It looks green, but I will assure you, it is not. It is a very lovely, creamy, neutral, tan color. I am having a hard time adjusting to it, however. We will put our house on the market eventually so I neutralized it. No more red, green, or yellow. I am having color withdrawals. I guess I'll have to get some colorful curtains or something. Hoooo-Hummmm! BORING!

See, definitely going to have to get new curtains....

My new hutch came this morning! I am totally in love with it. I think it is fantastic!!! Totally my taste. Which, I have decided, with the help of a friend/church member/furniture store girl, is very confused. I think it is rustic, but not western. But I love contemporary, but comfy. Maybe even a bit "fluffy"! Who knows. Maybe I should just call it eclectic and leave it at that!!:)

It's love I tell ya!! This is actually a better pic of the new color on the walls. What little of it you can see.Now, if only I could get that new rug I've been begging for. Jason keeps mumbling something about patience, and virtue, and can't redecorate the house all at once, and savings. I can't really make all of it out. ;)

I think Kenna Mae has decided her career goal. This is her new favorite thing to do. Super dad lets her do a number on his hair almost every night!!

NOPE!

Kooper started basketball. We will be traveling ALOT over the next couple of months. His first tournament was in Lubbock. It was...interesting to say the least. He really thought he would just pick up the basketball and be naturally good at it. With football, that is just kinda how it worked out for him. He has a lot of instinct. Let's just say, he isn't crazy about the thought of having to really work hard to be good at it!! It's going to be SO GOOD for his ego! If you know what I mean!:)

What to do when you are waiting for your kids to get out of school...

I've lost 5 pounds this week. Yeah me! I've been trying to follow the trend of all my F3 friends and add a ticker, but of all things I HAVE figured out on this stinkin blog, I CANNOT get that stinkin ticker to work!!!! It's too big. I can't get it to fit in my sidebar. Anyone??

Now I'm off to work on laundry and make my new hutch look pretty!! Have a great week!
