Sunday was the day I realized that SOMETHING I have said or done for my Kate has actually set in. She was getting ready for small group. Picking out a super cute outfit. She had on a black turtle neck and a little mini skirt. She came walking in to me and held up a pair of knee high, red and white striped socks with white fur tops and said the most wonderful words.
"Mommy, do you think these socks need to be ironed?"
For the record. I laughed at her. And then she laughed back!!
Music to my ears!! Not that I will EVER spend the time to actually iron socks, undershirts maybe, but socks? No time for that!
But the girl is developing my love for all things pressed and crisp.
I love that girl!!:)

That is too funny! She is just precious. I know someone who actually irons their SHEETS (and it's not me, lol!)

I love that girl! I have a feeling Kate and Elisabeth are going to be just alike. What a proud mommy moment :)
Oh, that is greatness! It reminds me of something I need to blog about. Tell Kate to come on over and I'll iron her socks! Love ya'll!
