Quite possibly the most random post I have ever done...

When I sat down at my computer this morning and clicked on the "new post" button, I literally sat and stared at my computer for a good 5 minutes trying to come up with a good post that wasn't random or catch-up style. Sorry friends. Just isn't gonna happen today. It is completely possible that I have lost my blog groove forever. I sure hope not!! So, here is some crazy randomness that most of you care very little about!!

1. In a brief moment of insanity I decided that it was an AWESOME idea to have permanent eyeliner done. About and hour later, after I took this picture, I was wondering what the heck I was thinking!! Why did tattoos on my eyes sound like a good idea again?? I ended up with one black eye!! It was so cool. I have never had a black eye before!! Koop totally freaked when he came home from school on this day and wondered why in the world I had decided on RED eyeliner instead of just brown or black. Have I mentioned that Koop is extremely book smart, but I'm not so sure about the common sense of his 8 year old brain!!:) He makes me laugh!! Never fear...the swelling and redness is gone and I am PUMPED up about the results. Granted, I do have to go back in a couple of weeks and get it "touched up" aka..done all over again!! Dang! I so dread that!! It hurts people!! And I find it hard to believe that I am a weeny after one natural child birth, one birth involving 600 stitches from one *end* to the other, and 2 c-sections!! I AM NO WIENER!!! So,take a good look at my eyeliner the next time you see me!! HAHA!! I never have to apply liquid eyeliner again!!!! Or buy it for that matter!!!
2. These are some pictures from Case's birthday back in August. Sharon, feel free to steal this pic of Sutton!! I think it is the cutest thing I have ever seen!!
The three musketeers...Case, Jackson, and Creek. I guess Creek is the only one that wanted to open his eyes for this pic!!
Aren't these some cute cupcakes!! And yummy!!
Case jumping off the diving board!! Creek looks a little nervous back there doesn't he??
3. I finally feel better today after 2 full days of feeling like my throat/neck was going to literally rot!! Jason worked in Seymour yesterday, and after finally getting home to his very unhappy, sickly wife at a whoppin 9 o'clock last night...let's just say he secretly turned off my alarm this morning and shut my door. He somehow managed to get all four kids dressed and out the door BY HIMSELF(however, lets not forget I have SuperKate). There is absolutely no telling what my sweet little girls hair looks like at school. I'm trying not to think about it!! Remember, I am the hair bow, flat iron queen and I'm pretty sure he doesn't know how to work a hair bow OR a flat iron!!:) I needed the rest and he knew it! Thanks hubs. I feel much better today!

4. Planning on spending the rest of the week uncovering my house from 2 days of "not" doing!! You mommys out there feel my pain don't you??

5. Koop started flag football again and I LOVE watching him play! He scored 2 touchdowns last week! Let's just say I need to work on controlling my excitement so I don't completely embarrass myself and HIM!! He's so cute!

I'm sure there are a million other things I really NEED to tell you, but I am running out of time. Gotta go pick up sassy Kenna Mae from pre-school and see the dreaded hair do for the first time today!!

I'll be back.....

Her hair UNDOUBTEDLY looked better at drop-off than at pick-up... just remember that. They play hard. Just believe in your heart that it looked cute when she left, and then it's almost like it is really true! ha ha!

Luke has 3 daughters and still can't even do a pony tail. How does that happen?!?!?!

I'm sure Kenna is as cute as she always is...I know what it felt like to get my tattoo...I can't imagine doing what you did!! You are SUPERWOMAN!! Good luck on the housework,I still have laundry from last week that I didn't get done!

Give Jason credit- that was awesome that he did that for you and- just MAYBE Kate helped fix Kenna's hair!! LOL :)

When you are done with your housework feel free to enter my house and tackle it cause it looks like Hurricane Ike came inside my house! LOL I'm starting to think it will be like this forever, and you know me- it is driving me nuts!! But, I have SO many other things that take priority like my school work that has me literally bogged down. Have a GREAT Thursday!!

I've always wanted permanent eyeliner. I think I'm too chicken about the pain though.

Thanks for the update. I think we need an updated eyeliner pic though. Maybe we can make it for one of Koop's games this year like last year. Hope you are feeling MUCH better!!

OMG...I think putting regular eyeliner on is uncomfortable I can't imagine a needle doing it. I hardly ever wear eyeliner for just that reason. You are a brave sole...and that sweet hubby of yours is awesome. Josh can be just as sweet they must be related. LOL Please post an update picture when they heal. In the mean time, I hope you have a fabulous afternoon. Oh.. and I am quite positive that your children looked precious even if they did have a bad hair day.

I have so wanted to do the permanent eyeliner and lipliner but I agree with Shelley - we want an after picture. About the girls, the house, etc. - don't sweat the small stuff.

i think your eyes look great...but I don't know if I am going to do it NOW...haha...I am also glad that you are feeling better...there is nothing worse than feeling bad and not having the time to be sick...about the house...it is so hard to keep it clean much less straightened up...but remember your family and YOURSELF is more important...(that is easy for me to say...but I don't listen to my advice..) have a great weekend...steph

Way to go hubby! That is about the sweetest, best present ever! Jason gets our girls ready for school Tuesday b/c I have to leave early for work. I have everything laid out with hairbows in all. One time Morgan did end up wearing cowgirl boots with a jogging suit though... I think I blogged about it!
