Here we are again. The first day of school. It amazes me every year how much they are growing up.Kooper is fighting like crazy not to be the "I'm embarrassed of my Mom" kind of kid. He did a great job of faking it, but deep down inside I could tell that he is getting there. He loves me like crazy, and adores me I know, otherwise, he wouldn't be fighting it!! He was insistent on only buying under armor or Nike athletic type clothes this year. Even though I prefer him to be a little "preppier". I thought he was going to pass out when I asked them to take this picture outside of the school!!:) When I got ready to leave I could see the "please don't kiss me" look written all over his face! I was tempted, but left him with a little cooler high five instead. Ahhhh, the days of hugs and kisses at school with Koop are over. Makes me a bit sad!
Kate, on the other hand, is perfectly content thinking her mom is still cool!! She loves me to walk her in, was great with taking these pictures, and came to me to kiss me ON THE LIPS as I was leaving. She still trust my sense of style and allows me to help her pick out her clothes and buy things for her when she's not with me. I'm sure this will come to a screeching halt soon, but for now, I am taking total advantage of it.
My babies are growing up. It's such a weird mix of emotion. Happy, sad, anger, aw...to many emotions to describe. All at the same time.

Both kids look adorable. Koop looks like quite the athlete, and Kate looks precious!!!
They do look so cute! I'm sure Kooper will get all the girls, like you said he thinks! And Kate looks so pretty and fixed up! I bet they have a great day!

Awesome pictures. You look great as does the rest of your family. I don't even try to buy Reagan's clothes unless she is there and tries them on. Very Picky. Have a great first week.

The family pictures are awesome! I don't know how you will ever decide. Some of my favorites are the one of the girls wear Kenna looks like she is telling Kate a secret, and I love the one wear it looks like Jason is gonna give you a kiss but you are laughing, Then I love the one of ya'll all holding hands walking away. We so badly need to have family pictures made. I don't think we have had any of our whole family (meaning Josh and I included) since Hogan was two months old.
I love the pictures. I am going to have to set up a time with Ashley to get ours done...I love them. I hope that y'all had a great time.. We had a good visit with my parents....I hope the first day went well...what about Wednesday for lunch?....steph

They do look precious... is kooper taller?? I am going to be so sad when my boys sre too cool for mom... but that is so sweet that he was trying not to be that way!

Ok. I totally teard up reading that about kooper. I am NOT looking forward to that day. And I probably would've kissed him anyway. It's just hard for me to let go. You did GOOD mom! And how cute do they look??? I hope their first day was AMAZING!
