Oh, and lets not forget the run to our local home improvement store for a test paint for Kate's room. I am going for an apple green above the chair rail and black below. We are doing big white polka dots on the black bottom, too. He bedding will be either black and white floral or toile or polka dots, something like that...I haven't found the perfect one yet. I am planning on throwing in some zebra stripes too, just to make it look a little more "fun"! She is so excited, and of course, I am too!!
I'm thinking this green isn't quiet "apple" enough. I think it's a little too "sagey". Whatcha think??
Wish me luck on packing this family of 6 tomorrow. It's so hard to pack for the mountains because you need so many different types of clothes. I'm going for minimal!!

Is that the green from my laundry room? Maybe something a little brighter with the hot pink. I love the idea though. Morgan's room is black and white toile, black and white gingham and pink. I've been wanting to add green to it to change it up.

I wanna help! I love the idea! And the island looks amazing. I'm so proud of you. I'm the exact same way about procrastinating. Today I took off to do laundry. You know how bad I hate laundry, so guess what I did all day long... I cleaned out cabinets in the kitchen and rearranged every single cabinet. It's great, but my laundry still isn't done. I'm horrible, but totally understand the procrastination thing. Before we left for Colorado, I spent the whole night until 3:00 a.m. rearranging closets so I could pack before we left at 6:00 a.m.. Something is wrong with us, but I'm so thankful I'm not alone. I hope you have a great vacation. I'll miss you!
Yeah, I think it is too sagey. But I love the color scheme. Sounds awesome. I can't wait to see the final project. Oh...and the cabinet... FanTaStiC!!! Way to go Amy! My house needs some major work....but I'm hoping we will be out of here in the next year. Good luck packing that family of six. I feel your pain. We are going to the river the beginning of August and packing just stinks. Have BIG fun on your trip.

Your work looks great Amy...I think we all understand that procrastination on packing thing. You can probably just pack all night the night before you leave because if you're like me...you won't sleep anyway thinking of getting everyone out of bed and off the next morning. Good luck on your other house projects and have fun on your vacation.
