And here is a Horton picture overload!! It seems to be a little quicker for me to just post a lot of pictures that give you every little crazy detail about our weekend. So, here goes! In no particular order...of course!!
1. On Saturday afternoon, we loaded up the camper for its maiden voyage. We landed on a small RV park about 15 miles out of town. It was perfect for us to practice and prepare for vacation next week. After much "discussion" with my hubs, we have settled on Red River. I was all for a Texas hill country trip to New Braunfels, but after suffering the 105 degree weather this weekend, Jason talked me into the nice cool mountain air. It wasn't too hard. Here are a few pictures from our time at the pool!
2. Saturday morning was the first annual Full of Bull run here in C-town. NO! I did not run this one. I helped my friend, Stephanie, organize and hold down the fort. She did an awesome job and the whole event turned out great. Kooper, Jason, and Jason's dad ran the 5K and Jason's mom, Kate, Kenna Mae, and Case did the 1 mile Fun Run. They all did awesome! Kooper even gave his mommy a few little goose-bumps when he "kicked it in" at the end and finished with a full sprint!!
Koop crossing the finish line of the 5K!!
3. After the race, we had a parade for Old Settler's Day. So much fun. My family was asked by a close family friend to ride in a horse drawn carriage. My kids had the best time!! If you can't tell from the pictures!

More pictures form the race...out of order!!
The start...
And there you have another weekend in pictures! Someday, I will have a chance just to sit down and chat with you guys with out titling my post "update"!

I LOVE all the pictures!! And it was good to see a glimpse of ya'll Sat. as ya'll passed in the carriage. I am SO PROUD of Koop for running the 5k!! Hats off to you Koop!! :) Talk to ya later!!
I love it! Sounds like ya'll had a blast! I think ya'll should come hang with the Wheeler's in Abilene when your house is being fixed! You and the kids could come for a day or two and spend some time lounging by the pool! :)
I always love to see all the pictures. I'm a picture person myself. I can't wait until we get our camper.
What fun!! Thanks for all the photos! Love to see the kids all growing up... makes me feel good that it's not just MINE growing like weeds!
We're ready for a camping trip!!

Great pics! The weekend was fun and I'm glad you got to go camping. You will have a great time in Red River. Will you be camping the whole time?
LOVE the pics and the update!
Have fun in NM!
Too funny about not peeing in the pool...but I totally understand. I just got Cord fully potty trained and now when we go to the pool, both Cord and Aidan have to go to the bathroom about 3-4 times each!! Like you said, I guess I should be thankful, but sometimes I just want to say, "Can't you just be like every other kid out here!". Enjoy your trip to the mountains, and bring back some cool!
