I had a VERY cool thing happen to me yesterday. I opened my email after a long morning of waiting at my Mom's house for 2 hours while the "bug man" came to spray for little tiny things that torture my Kenna Mae.
I think that may have been a run on sentence. Who cares! I LIKE run on sentences if they are place in appropriate places in your writing. And if they add a little emphasis!!
Anyway, (I have a feeling this is going to end up one of those blah, blah, blah blog post) back to the email.
I very suspiciously opened an email from someone named Angie. I really don't know that many Angie's. Just Case's precious little pre-school teacher and why would she be emailing me?? I proceeded to click away and TWO very cool things began to unfold.
Cool thing #1....she was thanking me for all the hits she had gotten on her site from my little ol blog. Come to find out, she was the owner of the online store I have on my sidebar, Dejaroom. So, some of you guys must have liked her stuff too!! She then proceeded to tell me that she and her partner had decided to go their separate ways(not because of a falling out, just that her partner has a full time job now) and she is doing her own online store called Miss Things Boutique . She named it after her two sweet little girls. Such cute stuff. She also wants to extend a DISCOUNT for those of you, and myself, of 25% off your entire order!! Isn't that cool!! My blog has become a tiny little piece of advertisement.
Cool thing #2...Angie also sent me a second email. One that blessed my day. I know that all my friends and family love and support our adoption of Aliviah. I also know that you all pray for us most days. I cannot express enough gratitude for that. We could NEVER do this without your support!! However, Angie, a person who I have NEVER met, took time out of her busy day to shoot me an email. She, too, has five kids AND an online "Mommy store" and she felt like my life needed some encouragement!! So she put everything else aside to check in on me. WHAT A BLESSING she was for me yesterday. I seriously had tears as I was reading her email. She has gone through a similar(kinda, but not really) situation and she completely understand the feeling of learning to raise and love someone else's child like you do your own. We shot a couple more emails back and forth yesterday and now, I feel like we are friends. Isn't this world-wide-web thing an amazing thing?? Isn't this bloggy thing an amazing thing?? Thank you again, Angie, for taking time to visit with me. I am looking forward to getting to know you better!!
Now go check out her stuff. She's so cool!!
On another note. Case-man is feeling better today after a full SEVEN days of tummy trouble. I knew he was feeling better yesterday when his funny little personality started peeking out. At lunch yesterday the kids were all sitting around the table talking about baptism. Kate and Kooper are both seriously thinking about this subject lately and I feel a little "double-dunking" is just around the corner. Case jumped right in on the conversation and said "I can't wait to be baptised because then I get to feed the dogs at night with Daddy!" WHAT??? Don't ask me what that has to do with his spiritual life!! It made everyone at the table laugh. Mission accomplished for Case-man!!!
Have a great Thursday!!

That is really neat. I really enjoy blogging and think it helps me to keep in touch with so many people that I might not have the chance to otherwise.
