You are possibly starting to wonder if this blog is becoming an "I ask a question and you answer" sort of blog. The answer is I hope not, but being that we are nearing the end of what has quiet possibly been the worst 2 months on record in Hortonville, then YES, perhaps it is. I can't seem to use my own brain lately. But don't worry, I will regain my composure and begin to use my brain again soon. So, for now, just float my boat!!
You all know that I have been dreaming of a new camera for a long time. A REALLY nice camera. One that is beautiful, and clear, and perfect. One that you can click away as fast as you like and take picture after picture without the wait of MY STUPID CAMERA!!! It is slowly becoming ever so clear that a Cannon Rebel is not in my future. Although, if I begged long enough, I'm sure Jason would give in and surprise me with it eventually. That is how things usually work around here. He is so sweet. BUT, I just cannot justify spending $600 or $700 dollars on a camera right now. There are so many other $600 or $700 purchases that seem more appropriate at this moment.
So, what camera do you guys recommend? I don't want to spend A TON of money, but you get what you pay for when it comes to technology. So...I want the best bang for your buck!! Any suggestions???
And just so this post has a little bit of me in it....Kenna came in from outside this evening and said,"I'm hot and sweaty and I don't like hot and sweaty! I am never playing outside again!" GREAT!! It's gonna be a long summer!!

Amy- I have a Canon Rebel and it was probably one of my best investments. Although, I always need a small camera that I can fit in my purse/pocket and take anywhere! I'd suggest Canon as a brand though! Also, B&H Photo Video is where I bought mine...and they do have other cameras other than professional ones, but there are no taxes so that can save you a little money. I've bought all my lenses and camera through them and think they're great!http://www.bhphotovideo.com/
Hope that helps!
I have a Sony Cyber Shot 7.2.
I love it-----I love it so much that my mother in law bought one, too. She loves it and can use it....which she says is amazing since she is not technological.
I think we got it at Best Buy, but it was like 3-4 years ago, so I dont remember the cost.
Hope you find one you love!
I also have the Canon Rebel, and I like it very much, although the resolution is so good that it takes FOREVER to load to my blog...Just one "downside"... I love everything else about it, though. I also need a small purse-sized camera, because the Rebel is pretty big...
I have a canon something or other and although the pictures are great it does take a long time to upload and it tends to need to think sometimes when it takes a picture. Several of my friends have a kodak camera 8.2 something or other and seem to love it... I may be moving to the cheaper one to carry around with me!
