Kenna is doing great today. She isn't running any fever and she is several doses into an antibiotic. I did take her into the clinic yesterday to get checked out. Craig decided that she could have a number of things that all needed different types of meds so someone needed to see her. Turns out she has bronchitis/upper respiratory. I'm just glad it wasn't the flu!! There go Kenna's 2 allowed visits per year!! Oh, well, maybe the next 11 months will be sickness free!! Wooohooo! Besides, she told me yesterday that the night she was running fever she "woke up and it was weally dawk and I felt sick so I pwayed to Gawd and now I all bettew!" Doesn't that just make you smile? It almost made me cry. She is barely 3 years old and she already knows the #1 person to turn to. She didn't wake Jason or me up, she prayed. AWWWW! So sweet!
A very nice person left a comment on my blog yesterday and asked me to pray for his overworked and very tired sweet little wife. They have 3 children, all very young. So, come on all you Mommas out there that have been-there-done-that. Join me in lifting up this frazzled Mommy!!
Things are looking up in the Horton home. My furniture is getting to go back in it's place on Saturday. Koop and Case will have their room back. 4 out of the 5 children will have access to their dressers again. (all 3 dressers have been blocked off in Koop's room) Jason lost 13 pounds the first week of biggest loser. As for me....not a single pound. It's got to be all that muscle I've been building.LOL! There is always next week I guess. We have found ourselves at the gym everyday the last 2 weeks. Yeah! It is such good therapy for me. Stress relief. Whatever. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I am so ready for the weekend. Ready to get my house back in order for a fresh start on Monday. I hope everyone has a great and restful weekend!
