Back to Blogland....

First of all, I would like to thank all FIVE of my loyal readers for noticing my recent absence. It does my heart good to know that all the time I spend downloading pictures, coming up with something creative and somewhat humorous to write about, and typing (slowly, I might add) does not go unnoticed by the FIVE of you. Did I mention that there are FIVE of you! Come on people, is my life that boring that I only have FIVE readers? Come out of the blog closet and leave comments when you read!!!! I have a site meter so I know you are out there....COMMENT! It's easy! I even allow anonymous comments! You guys have to keep us faithful bloggers motivated somehow. And to those FIVE of you that do read faithfully and leave comments....you're worth it....I'll keep blogging even if it's just the six of us out here!!!!

I feel quite certain that blogger will not allow this post being that it is going to be VERY long and probably boring. If my pictures and my post don't match....sorry! I already loaded them and there's no turning back!:) I guess the best way to catch you guys up is like this........

TOP FIVE THINGS KEEPING AMY FROM HER BLOG BUDDIES......

1. Easter... I know we all have what seems like 8 kids most of the time, but Easter week is what started my downhill slide with blogging. I had FOUR Easter Egg hunts between the 4 children. It seemed like they drug out forever! How many plastic eggs can one town possibly supply? It turn out to be alot of fun. Even in the yucky weather. Kids will hunt those eggs in anything!! I just realized that Kate is not in any of the pictures I posted. OOPS! Like I said...no turning back. Sorry baby girl! Next post--next month! Just kidding...I won't wait a month this time.LOL. The topping on the Easter cake was Kenna Mae. She HATED the Easter bunny!! Our city hunt had a person dress up like the real deal!! She wouldn't even let me put her down. She cried the entire time. Which, if you know our family, has brought on many laughs! HILARIOUS! We told her Easter night that the Easter Bunny was coming to our house and she screamed NO, NO! Cracked us up. That morning we went in to see the goods and she was having a good time...until we all walked out of the room and she screamed..."No, Bunny!" I guess she thought he might be hiding under the table ready to eat her or something. The children(precious little angels) have been torturing her ever since. You have no idea how many times I've heard..."Kenna, the Easter Bunny's gonna get you!" Like I said..our family has a twisted view of humor. Pictures 1 and 2 are at Case's school party. There was no bunny at that one so Kenna was happy. Pictures 3 and 4 are Kenna at the city hunt. She's actually looking at the Easter Bunny in picture 4. LOL!!! I also just realized that I somehow deleted the pic of Kooper! Sorry!

2. Busy Season....or as us CPA wives like to call it....Hell season!! Jason has been really busy for about 3 months, but the last month he has been MIA. I have a new respect for single mothers! He left before we woke up, didn't come home for lunch, and came home at about 3 in the morning. He did come home for an hour or so for dinner to eat and see the kids and I. But, PRAISE THE LORD! It's over. I have a husband again! The stress level has majorly decreased in this house.

3. Sick people....everywhere. Every person in this house has been sick in the last month. We have had everything from the stomach virus, to strep throat, to the flu! Kenna and Case have had HIGH fever for three days. I fought Case's fever all day Tues. and finally took him to the clinic when I couldn't break it at 104!! Craig thinks he might have the flu, but didn't actually have a kit to test him because he hasn't ordered new supplies being that he is closing in less than two weeks. Poor little guy. He is feeling much better today.

4. Potty Training...Kenna Mae is a superstar. She is completely potty trained. She is so independent. She wants to do it all by herself! She is even making it through the night...dry! I'm so proud of her. I'm also very happy that she used her "attitude" and "spirit" toward getting potty trained rather than choosing NOT to be potty trained. It was a coin toss. You never can tell which direction her attitude will take her! Thank you, sweet baby for making it easy for mommy!

5. Baseball season...Yes, it is in full swing. I have 2 playing this year and being that they are a boy and girl they are NOT on the same team. So...we have four practices a week until the games start and then we have 4 games a week and maybe a couple of practices thrown in here and there. Of course, they often play on opposite sides of town, sometimes at the same time! Come on people....can you make it any harder on us parents. Oh, well! We all love this time of year. Fresh air, birds chirping, sunshine, kids laughing, and baseballs flying. Spring is my favorite time of year. It's crazy busy, but sooo much fun!

And that's my list of reasons I have been neglecting my best blogging buds! I promise I'll do better from now on! I love you guys!! Thanks for missing me!

One more thing! Koop got his cast off yesterday and it looks great! It is still a little crooked, but I think that it will look like that forever! Uncle Chris pointed out this weekend that some famous baseball player that throws with his left arm can throw 90 something MPH and that really pumped Koop up. He is quite the little athlete! Anyway, we are glad to be free of that heavy cast and on our way to baseball stardom!!

Glad you are back! I was starting to worry about you.

Are you sure that isn't Kate and Kooper in that second picture at a younger age???? I can't believe how much your first two and second two look alike!

So, the busy life. I guess that is what I have to look forward to in a few years. I'll take advantage of having time to myself while they are young. I know all the practices, parties, etc. will start soon enough.

Tell Kooper congratulations on getting off the cast. And, my little knowledge of baseball comes from five brothers who all played and the left-handed pitcher is a hot commodity in baseball world!!

You have a lot of posting to do to make up for your time gone! I missed all the humor that comes from your posts. So glad you are back and don't ever do that to us again!!!

Just so you know, I love reading your blogs and I have really missed them. They make me laugh at work, when I have nothing to do, like right now. I hate it when your hubby isn't here, it's really lonely.
Well, I'm glad Koop got his cast off, I bet he is so excited to play baseball, the right way!
Oh, and also, yall quit teasin that baby about the Easter Bunny, LOL!
Also, some things I can't just come out and tell Jason... I love working here, yall are the sweetest, loveing, and most of all exciting family I have ever been around! There's is always something going on with yall, and I love it. Also, when Jason isn't around, and you need to go workout, you can always bring them 2 lil angels up here, I would love to watch them.
Well, I guess I better find something to do.

I missed you, too and I DID notice you hadn't posted, but I figured with the holiday and tax season you were just swamped! Glad to see the pics, too. Kenna's sad face was hilarious!

Will you be there Tuesday?

Just to let you know, I check your blog DAILY. Yes, you read it right--DAILY. How else can a busy CPA keep up with his best friend (who's also a CPA) and his family during busy season? I'll try to be better about leaving comments . . .

Okay...you caught me. I am a terrible blogger. However, when I do make time to check it, I thoroughly enjoy what you have to say. It is always so entertaining. I finally got a digital camera so really I have no excuse. I guess it's all that exercising that is keeping me too busy to post. Okay, that's not true either. Keep yours coming. When I check it I will post...And even if I'm not checking it doesn't mean that you are forgotten. We miss you all.

One of these days I am going to surprise you with a new post. Keep on checking!!!
