You know how someone will say something to you and the whole time they are talking you are thinking that it doesn't sound like a good idea?
Well, this friends is proof that you should follow your instincts.
We were in Wally World the other night at dark thirty after the ACU Wildcats slaughtered TSU and I found some cute cushions for my dining room chairs.
They were aqua, which is my favorite color E.V.E.R.
There were only 4 aqua though so I was going to have to throw some orange in too.
The problem was, I wasn't really in the market for cushions.
Something about chair cushions just says "I am going to be much more uncomfortable on your rear than the hard wood of the chair could ever be!"
So, while I was standing there discussing the topic with my 5 year old diva, Jason busts into the convo and says, "well, go ahead and try them out!"
Here is the convo from there:
Me: try them WHERE?
J: right here.
Me: here, as in on the floor in Wally World?
J: yeah, go ahead and test it out!
At this point I looked at Kenna Mae and she had the same look on her face as I did.
I'm not sure that sounds like the best idea I've ever heard.
But, peer pressure got the best of me so I did it.
And this folks is why you listen to your gut....
the same gut that looks HUGE and folded over in this picture...
The battery on my phone was dead the rest of the night so this picture is what I woke to the next morning.
I was TOTALLY SET UP!
As soon as I sat my fanny down on this cushion my HUSBAND snapped a picture of me looking like a goof.
Nice, hubster.
The moral of this story is:
1.) never trust your hubster with his camera phone
2.) listen to your flabby gut
and
3.) use pictures like this to log on immediately and order Abs of Steel.
Have a great week!
