Lets talk about this weather...

I am really, really tired of the nasty weather. I don't mind the rain, but if its gonna rain, I want thunder.
I've been in a bad mood for a couple of days and I'm blaming it on the weather.
It's been blah and so have I.

The weather was also disgusting on our trip to Fredericksburg this weekend and included the Guadalupe rising from its banks and almost floating us away.
A man a couple of miles down the road was not so lucky. Rescuers have still not found his body.
It just freaks me out to think about it.
So, instead, I will show you a few pictures from our trip. No, the cute little bed and breakfast didn't work out so we ended up a few miles on the other side of Kerrville. It worked out great because we were away from the craziness of Fredricksburg, but close enough to drive there every day to shop! :)

We had a blast despite the rain and the wedding that was on the resort we were staying at. Those college aged kids almost did me in! I have apparently forgotten what it was like to be able to stay up all night and still function the next day. These days I could get so much done if I could do that again! haha.

Ma and a couple of her girls...
Sweet sisters. It was cold and raining in this picture!
Momma and her babies...
The fam...
I think this picture of the boys at the WW2 museum is hilarious! Case was taking a little rest. haha.
Three generations...
The goober twins...

Pa, Ma, and the kidlets...
Kooper aiming the...cannon?
I have about a bajillion more pictures, but I'll stop there. Most of them are of the kids with their eyes closed. Of course!

We had a great time celebrating the end of a great tax season!
Way to go, babe...
YOU ROCK!:)

I *heart* the Horton's! These are GREAT pics, Amy, even if it was icky weather! One good thing about all the rain down South is the rivers will be AWESOME for floating in a couple of months! YAY!

Hmm, that sounds like a trip in the making! :)
