So, as crazy as it sounds, I've been spending alot of time deciding if it's worth it. Is this blog worth my time and effort? I have come to the ultimate conclusion that YES it is.
I know that I have said many, many times that the only reason I have this blogspot is so I can eventually make a book of memories for my kids.
That is one reason, but on my hiatus, I also realized that I love the community that it creates. I love making new friends and learning how to decorate my mantle.:)
I love finding new recipes and seeing new pics of your kids.
So, today, I decided that I am going to be more committed to my spot.
Because I want too.
Because I like it.
THE END. :)
So, over the course of the next couple of months, you will start to notice changes here and there.
First, and foremost, my existence!
I have a new design in the works from the most awesomest designer ever. Who, after some nosing around her design blog and a couple of comments and emails later, I realized actually taught my nephew in Dallas. My SIL was her room mother.
This blog world is a small one. And I am so happy to be in it!
Now, I know you guys are wanting some pics of the new digs. So, because there are so many before and afters, I'm gonna take it one room at a time. (and so I only have to make one room clean enough for a picture :))There will be lots of "don't look at that ______ over there in that corner." or "please ignore that____" because we still have ALOT to do. Slowly but surely.
So.....
Our cozy home on Oak Lane.
We haven't done a single thing to the outside.
Landscaping will come in the spring.
She was working up a big fit complete with alligator tears when I pulled out the camera to take this picture. Only Kenna Mae can suck it up in the name of a cute picture. ;)
NOTE: Who knew there was actually an invention called an SD card?? And I actually have one. I'll tell you who. My sister. She said to me, "don't you have an SD card?" and I said "no" and she said "let me see your camera." and I said "fine, but I don't" and then she turned it over and pointed at the words that said CARD here. Hmmmm. Wha? YA! Just take that sucker out of your camera and stick it in the computer. WOW! ***I am so good at this**** WHO KNEW! LOL!! :)
Do you think I have an obsession with commas? I feel like there is a chance I overuse.;)

YEAH! Thanks for the new post. I am so glad you didnt abandon your blog. I would have been SO SAD :( I cant wait to see your blog makeover. How exciting! And to see all your home makeover pics...I hope to see some different things than we saw in person a few weeks ago. Keep the posts coming!!!!!
In honor of lists, which I love, I'm going to respond to your post with one:
1.) I can't BELIEVE I live 2 blocks from you and I haven't seen your renovations yet! Boo!
2.) Richard and I both said the other day as we drove by and COULDN'T see in your windows, that the outside already looks SOOOO much better even though you haven't done all that much to it!
3.) I love pumpkins, too.
4.) Can't wait to find out a.) who your blog designer is and b.) what the final product will be, other than absolutely adorable like all of the ones you've done for yourself!
5.)The SD card story cracked me up, especially when you said, "WHA?" without the "T" because I've heard you say that before and I could hear your voice while I read it!
6.) and lastly...I'm SOOOOOOO glad you didn't abandon the blog world once and for all because how on earth would I ever know what you were doing and you have blinds in your windows.
I agree with Charla~It looks sooo much better already!!!
Can't wait to see more pics!
Yay!!!! I'm glad you decided to continue blogging!
Wow. I love your new house with all the windows. I contemplated about giving up the blogging myself but I do enjoy it, especially when you KNOW people are reading it. Finally, Kenna Mae has lost her baby cheeks and looks so much like Kate - beautiful.
Yea! I'm so glad that you found me, Amy! I can't wait to start on your design. Thanks for the compliments!
Your house is beautiful and so is your little girl. I can't believe that she was crying moments before you snapped this pic. :)
