Hello. Remember me? It's Amy. Yes, I'm serious! It's really me!

So when you've been missing from the blog world for going on 3 months how do you enter back in? Do I give you pages and pages of updates and things that have been going on? Or do I just pick up from here and pretend the last 3 months never happened?

Hmmm...I wish I could say that I have pictures of proof that we are still alive and well and STILL not finished with our remodel, but I don't. My camera attachment thingy is nowhere to be found. Vanished into thin air...or quiet possibly at the bottom of ONE of the fifty boxes yet to be unpacked in ONE of the three storage spaces that are still holding a ton of our stuff.

Truth is, most of the house is finished. If you count no tile in the sunroom, the boys room getting prepped for expansion, not a single thing hanging on my walls, and people completely stopping in front of the house at night so they can take a look inside because we have NO BLINDS or CURTAINS hanging yet!

Don't get me wrong. We are living in the house and totally in love with it. Just exhausted and worn out on getting it done!!

Here is a few little tidbits of the last few months that I cannot NOT mention!

1. Samson, our absolutely adorably huge and clumsy Great Dane pup, has about doubled in size and weighs at least 70 lbs in his 5 months of life. His tail will bruise your leg if it hits you just right. I've GOT to teach him how to control that thing!! He was bit by a rattlesnake TWICE while living at the ranch and aside from a swollen head and face, kicked the tail off a rattlesnake bite! He's great.

2. My Kooper was baptized. He is amazingly knowledgeable about the Lord. I am so proud of him I can hardly stand it. His sweet, amazing spirit is now filled with His spirit! Precious boy!

3. Case started Kindergarten. And because Case is Case, he has used the last month to cry every single morning, yet still managed to cause his new teacher to fall in love with him. However, he made up his mind on Tuesday that "kids don't cry for their Mommy's when they are in Kinder" and hasn't cried since. This house is VERY lonely with him missing all day. I sure can't tell him that being most of his crying was due to the fact that "mommy might be lonely without him!"

4. My sweet hubby bought me a new HP mini. It is soooooo cute!! My laptop crashed just before we moved which is another reason I haven't been around the blogosphere in so long!

5. I have a daughter that is in the FIFTH grade!! That means I am the mother of an "almost junior high student"!

6. Kenna pranced off to preschool skipping and flipping her hair. Her latest favorite thing to say is "I LOVE MYSELF". What am I going to do with that??:)


I am hoping to get some things on the walls and the basement furniture in this weekend. Maybe I can manage some pics of the new digs by next week. IF I can find my camera cord that is!
