April 28, 2009

So I just sat in front of my laptop with the new post screen talking smack to me about thinking of a funny, clever title after a long blog hiatus.

I think I might be losing my touch because as you can see...nothing. I just couldn't bring myself to type the words update, or catching up, or what have we been up to. How boring.

Maybe its just because I have been reading Big Mama this morning and OH. MY. WORD. I wish she lived in Childress because she would be my best friend and we would "do lunch" at McDonalds every day and collect happy meal toys together. We could embrace each others OCD and all things glitter. That girl is far from boring. She is hysterical. In a dry, "make you go hmmmm", kind of way.

Dang. I forgot to upload all my pictures. I'll go do that now.

There. After some fancy cutting and pasting I am back with some really cute pictures of the family. So....here's what we've been up to. :)

There may have been a little jumping involved on a snazzy new trampoline. NO. THAT IS NOT CASE JUMPING ON THE TRAMP. IT IS JUST YOUR IMAGINATION. I would never allow my five year old maniac to jump on a tramp with 2 broken wrist. Are you crazy. What kind of mother do you think I am?;) (yes, they are in their pajamas!)
Maybe a little R&R...
Perhaps a bit of candy eating...
And a little dancing with Big Daddy...

Stick in the Pantry Purge of 2009, The Great Closet Cleanout of 2009, The Flower Fru-Fru of 2009 on the front porch and a few other tidbits here and there and that just about sums up the hiatus. I am feeling relaxed and refreshed for the first time in a long time. Although there is still a few things here and there calling out my name. One day at a time I guess!:)
I hope there is still someone reading this....

I think it is cool your kiddos are jumping on the trampoline in the pj's! :) One of those "spur of the moment" times they will remember! I love jumping on the trampoline with my kids. I can remember laying on it in the summer nights and looking at the stars. Gosh, we would lay there for hours talking about random things! Great times! I've read somewhere that jumping with wrists broken is actually a form of good therapy...I think it heals the bones quicker as a result of the gravity working against the bones.... :? Well.....trust me...it sounded good! I'm glad things are relaxing for you now! Love the pictures of your family! :) Have a great, blessed day!

Oh, as you can tell there are at least 8 of us who still read! And I think you're posts are VERY clever and funny in that dry, Big Mamma kind of way! Yes, I don't know if I told you or not, but I actually don't read her blog much anymore because it makes me jealous. HA! Sounds crazy, but it is kind of true. Her stuff is always so clever and funny and her titles get me every time and I find myself trying to mimic her and then it's totally obvious. **sigh**

Complete disregard for :

personal safety
oral hygiene
proper daytime attire
and
the necessity of adequate rest

Shameful, Amy... just shameful!
