How to take the perfect picture of a toddler...

Step 1: Repeat the words "now, just stand there and look cute". At this point they will proceed to do this....

Then say, "stop jumping around like a monkey" to which they will give you this look and be very offended that you have called them a monkey.
The next appropriate step would be to say, "oh, but sweetheart, that ugly look on your face is showing all my internets your true colors, now come closer so I can get a good picture of your beautiful eyes," at which time she will possibly does this...

"Kenna Mae, step back and act nice or else...." Dum, dum, dum, dummmmmmm....

Hmmm. The final step would be to resort to some sort of bribe. "Fine, you little stinkin' princess, take a sweet picture and I will let you eat cookie dough!!" To which you will receive this after about 15 minutes of the above stated steps.

Good luck, and let me know how helpful these tips were for YOUR toddler!!
Have a great weekend.
Go BOBCATS!!
Go little BOBCATS!!
P.S. Quote of the day, by Kenna Mae, "I just love you with all my heart Mommy, except when you give me pankins." Ahhh, unconditional love!!

She and Grace would have been dangerous together.

Oh' I totally understand how you feel! Hilarious! She's such a cutie!

Oh' and the tenderloin is really easy and quick... it only takes about 10 minutes to make the marinade if you buy crushed garlic instead of pressing garlic cloves like I did (dumb!). You marinade the tenderloin overnight and then stick it in the oven the next day. It was soooooo good! The left over marinade that you cook just makes it!

Cookie Dough would make me smile. I bribed Beck with a Coke the other day at the pumpkin patch. He did eventually smile but it wasn't great. The things we go through for precious pictures. They are just so stiken cute.

Stopped over from Sheridan's blog, where she mentioned you had a great tutorial for taking a toddler's photo.

So funny! I will definitely have to remember the cookie dough next time! Your daughter, by the way is beautiful (and I LOVE her name!)
