Two post in one day? WOW!! Now that is some blog game!! (See last post for those of you are just thinking I am a total dork)
I had to tell this quick story...
I found myself at 4 o'clock this afternoon not having had a shower for the day. The kids were actually being very quiet in my bedroom watching some T.V. insert bad-mommy thoughts here. So, I thought to myself, now is the time. I started running some water for a shower and then another thought jumped into my head. It went like this...
Me: hey, maybe I could actually take a nice relaxing bath.
myself: yeah, you haven't had a nice quiet bath in months.
Me: I think I will!!
And I filled the tub with turn-your-hiney-red water. I was laying there relaxing in the tub, feeling ever so happy, when along came my precious little 3 year old to bring my bliss to a screeching halt.
Now, get ready, this one is classic.
Throwing the bathroom door completely open Kenna Mae looks at me and with an almost paniced voice, like she thought I was going to drown, says:"Mommy, WHAT are you doing in there??" To which I answered, "I...am...trying...to...take...a...bath!!" To which she ever so sweetly said with a laugh, "Well, you look silly in there. You're to big for that bathtub!!"
Lovely! REALITY CHECK!! Nice, relaxing bath...OVER!!

Glad to know you didn't drown!!
Kids do say the most honest words don't they. When my boys were little they rushed into the bathroom while I was sitting on the toilet and shouted very loud, " mom did yours fall off"? Still a big joke in our house being the only girl has it's price. Keep blogging.
Too cute!
Thats a good one! Oh Miss Kenna... you have given Will and I our laugh for the day :) Happy 4th and Happy Birthday, Jason!
I loved that post...that reminds me about a couple things the kids have told me lately....Remind me to tell you when I talk to you next...It would embarrass me and your fellow bloggers if I wrote them down...I really hope you that you enjoyed the REST of your bath...take care...and happy birthday to Jason and wish y'all could be here at the house...steph
