Update...

Well, the day seems to be looking a little brighter! Jason is actually coming home for dinner tonight. The kids and I have not seen him since Sunday afternoon. We are all ready for a little Daddy time, even if it is just over dinner!

The doctor called this afternoon with what I am going to consider good news. After hundreds of dollars of test ran today, (oh,well, at least we have met our deductable for the year!)everything came back normal. Not even so much as a viral infection. However, she does think that she is having tension/migraine headaches. I am so happy with the results, but it does make me sad that my baby is going to have to deal with migraines...possibly forever. After some of the thoughts that ran through my head last night, migraines are a blessing to my soul right now!

Thanks to everyone that has commented and prayed for this little family! What great friends I have!

I have some really funny stories that I will post tomorrow! I've resorted to keeping a list of "bloggable moments" so that I don't forget them before I sit down to post!

Have a restful night!

I am glad that the tests came back negativ..I am sorry that she has migraines!! Poor thing. My 10 year old gets about 4 of those a year I think stress and not eating a good breakfast has on those days was the culprit. I try and make sure she has some protein every morning and so far so good.

We have phenegrin for when she gets the bad headaches and it makes her sleep it off.

Good luck

Praise God there is nothing wrong! I would keep a record of her headaches on a calendar and see if there is a pattern... like I always get a migrane on the last day of my period so when I feel it coming on I know to take excedrin migraine and go to starbucks. For some reason the combination of it all seems to ease the pain. My dr suggested it when I told him about the headaches and when they happened. But if I hadnt kept record I never would have noticed the pattern.

As for Megans headaches, I have noticed that if I give her a couple of advil and make her drink a mountain due the headache goes away more quickly... something about caffeine and blood flow to the brain! Good luck and we will keep her in our prayers!

Oh' no! I have migraines and they are horrible! I take Relpax and it works great, but I'm not sure if kids can take that. Do they run in your family? Also, I wear a bite guard called the NTI at night b/c I grind my teeth and that was causing tension headaches. So, you might check and see if her jaw is sore in the morning from grinding. I'll pray that her headaches are temporary. That breaks my heart to think of a little girl getting migraines.
