Well, my children all bounced out the door joyfully this morning. Deep sighs of relief came from my inner being! I left the house by 8:15, went and had a great workout at the gym, took the babies to Wal-Mart to spend their valentine gift cards, and did my grocery shopping for the week! Now, that is alot to accomplish before 11 am. I was feeling extremely proud of myself, and quiet frankly, I was basking in the rays of "my family is back to normal...woo-hoo".
That all came to a screeching halt when my sweet Kate entered the vehicle with tears. She had a headache. Not just any headache. It was one of those times that for some reason, my instincts were screaming at the top of their lungs. I gave her an advil immediately, but when an hour and a half later, she was rolling around my bed, sobbing in pain, I new I had to call the clinic. They want to see her first thing in the morning for a cat scan. She has been having headaches for a while, but not ones that I cannot relieve. Poor baby. She finally cried herself to sleep in my bed. I just hope she stays that way for the night.
Something inside me is just worried. So, please say a prayer for Kate tonight. Pray that the scan is OK. Pray that she sleeps through the night tonight. Pray that the scan doesn't scare the daylights out of her. She has been such a healthy child, she's really never even been to the hospital for anything related to HER!
And, please, please, pray that this family regains it's health soon!

Kate's on our official prayer list now. Headaches are no fun! Please keep us updated on what the dr. says! You have lots of people who love you and think about you often with your crazy, full of children and chaos and most of all love and hugs, home! I SO admire you...I know I've said it before, but it's true!
Oh No! Nothing is worst than a throbbing headache. We'll pray!
Awww... praying, praying, praying! Megan has had some headaches that have scared me, but her doctor assures me they are hormone related. Keep us posted!
Oh, Amy, I'm so sorry. Nothing is worse than a sick child, especially when you can't "fix" it easily. Please tell Miss Kate that we love her to tears and will pray for her (and you) and hope that her headaches end quickly.
I am saying a prayer for Kate right now. I know you are so ready for your family to feel better. Headaches can be so bad. I get them almost everyday. I hope you get some answers and that you get her feeling better soon. :)
Amy, is there anything you need? I'm so sorry everything is hitting you at once. Please let me know if you need me to run an errand for you or anything. I can pick up and drop off Case tomorrow if you need me to. Take care girl! I'll keep you in my prayers! Love - Sharon
