Home again, home again...

Isn't that a song or nursery rhyme or something? We made it home for our last "summer trip" this year. Three weekends in a row...I'm exhausted!

We had an amazing trip to Lubbock to spend a little time with Craig and Kenni! We got there late Friday night and made a mad dash out to Cage's Steakhouse and had an AMAZING meal! It was a late night, but so much fun with those two crazy people. The next morning we slept in a little. As much as possible when there are 7 children under 9 in the house! I only had to threaten them with leaving once all weekend. Pretty good! However, I have no idea how many threats Jason laid out there. He kept them all at the house while Kenni, Kelsea, Kate and I went shopping ALL day Saturday! We had a blast. Even with the ridiculous tax free crowd! I swore all summer I was planning my shopping around tax free weekend. NOT shopping on that weekend, and there we were, fighting crowds. It just worked out for us that weekend. Next year, I WILL PAY THE STUPID TAX.

Now that we all have new school clothes, backpacks, and some school supplies, Kate and Kooper are ready for school to start. Especially Koop. He is ready to wear his new New Balance shoes that look alot like Will's. He is convinced they will make him the FASTEST kid in 2nd grade....instead of the 2nd fastest like last year!LOL! He cracks me up.

I pray that this week goes by slowly....but I am also glad that it is here!

Glad yall had a good time, but I keep waiting to post some pictures from the Schlitterbahn trip... HINT, HINT!! Hope all was well for Craig and Kenni... Will would love to see some pics of the awesome shoes. If they dont make him faster, they sure will make him more "workout" conscience like Uncle Will!!! Have a great LAST week...

I had to laugh at your comment about Kooper's shoes. When Billy was little and he would get new shoes, he would make me come outside and watch him run to see if "smoke" was coming off his feet. And lucky for him we had a white rock driveway so there always was :P
