Best Buds...aren't they cute?!

Well, here I am, home at last. We are alive and well. We have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off around here. We had an eventful and exhausting spring break. Only two bouts of illness in a 7 day span. Pretty good around here. Koop is recovering from a battle with the tummy bug. I so kindly shared it with him. I woke up with the darn thing the morning we were leaving for Abilene to meet the Hale's. Being the Supermommy that I am...off we went, tummy bug or not! The Hales and the Hortons cancelled their last planned outing due to bad weather and no bug was keeping these little chickens at home. So I trucked on. I was feeling better by lunch that day!
I am going to have to break this post up into several. TMI for one post.
I wanted to start us off by sharing these pictures of Abbey and Kooper. These two are so cute. There Shelley and I were, bopping around Abilene with 7 children in tow! It was hilarious. We got ALOT of stares and a few "what the heck were you thinking" looks, but overall, the kids all did well. Abbey and Kooper were probably the best behaved of all 7. They missed each other so much they were to busy catching up to misbehave. Every time I looked up they were off somewhere talking and laughing. They really are cute! The Hales and us have hopes of in-law someday. They will probably end up more like brother and sister and think the M word is just weird. That's OK, too. We love that they love each other like they do. Here are some pic's of the big buds...
